About the Opportunity

Under the direction of the Coordinator Waste and Resource Recovery Business Services, this role involves working closely with Council's Communications and Customer Services teams, kerbside collection and disposal contractors, along with community stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition to a four bin kerbside collection system.

This role is a Full time position for a two year period, Remuneration begins at $84.4K to $91.8K (Band 6) plus superannuation.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in successfully managing projects or implementing programs in the context of waste management or environment sustainability, and an understanding of waste management principles including waste sorting, recycling systems, and sustainable waste disposal methods and the ability to apply this knowledge to develop an effective kerbside transition program.
