Toolijooa Nursery specialises in the collection & propagation of provenance native seed & cuttings throughout the Sydney Basin & beyond.

We are looking to employ a delivery driver/nursery hand to work at our native plant nursery in West Hoxton, NSW, 2171.

This role will deliver plants to some of the most beautiful areas of Sydney, South of Sydney, Hunter Region and beyond. When not undertaking deliveries, you will be working as a nursery hand.

Duties include:

• Assisting in picking the plant tube stock for delivery
• Assisting in packing the Ute or Truck
• Making deliveries in the truck or Ute to various sites within Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter
• Dropping off of vehicles for serving or getting a pink slip for registration
• Undertaking other nursery tasks when deliveries are quiet, such as potting up, moving stock, assisting in irrigation maintenance.

There could also be opportunities to assist with seed collection, germination trials or seed stock takes.

The Nursery Award 2020 is fully implemented at Toolijooa.

• Delivery Driver - $31.50 per hour
• Nursery Hand Level 1 - $29.04 per hour
• Nursery Hand Level 2 - $30.05 per hour

To be considered for this role you will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Have nursery experience
• Full driver’s license and ability to drive manual or willingness to learn to drive manual.
• Willing to be put through a LR license at Toolijooa’s expense
• 5 day a week availability
