Green Adelaide's Urban Biodiversity team are excited to be calling for a senior level Wildlife Ecologist to join our Adelaide based workgroup in an employee backfill arrangement. The Wildlife Ecologist works with a diversity of partners and networks (government, NGOs, research institutes, industry, landholders, broader community) to design and implement strategies and policies to guide the conservation and management of threatened and abundant native species and native vegetation communities. The role will suit an Ecologist who is highly motivated and passionate about wildlife conservation and management.

Contract: Up to 8 months from start date.

Qualifications:

• Degree in the field of ecology, biodiversity management, natural resource management (or related field) is essential.

Special Conditions:

• May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
• The position will be located at 81-95 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.
• Must hold a current drivers licence and be prepared to undertake 4WD training.

Remuneration: PO3 $95,429 min - $100,887 max p.a.
