Local Land Services (LLS) is delivering rehabilitation and restoration activities in flood and fire impacted waterways and landscapes. These activities will help landholders to recover and build the resilience of landscapes and natural resources to withstand impacts from future extreme weather events, enabling our industries and communities to thrive.

Local Land Services are currently looking for a Team Leader for their River Rehabilitation Project (North Coast, Hunter or Greater Sydney preferred location).

As a successful candidate you will ideally have:

  • A passion for and knowledge of Natural Resource Management and environmental rehabilitation and restoration.
  • Strong experience negotiating, engaging and forming relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a view to delivering an outcome.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing, prioritising and managing a range of competing and conflicting priorities in a fast paced and sensitive environment.
  • Experience managing a team of high performing individuals to achieve on-ground, strategic, policy and regulatory outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A focus on creating and contributing to a supportive and engaged working environment.

Having a positive and solution focused attitude, you'll be able to think creatively and solve complex problems for both yourself and others as they arise. You'll also be able to work autonomously with limited supervision and simply get things done.
