The Environment and Heritage Group has an opportunity for a Scientist (Spatial) to provide computer-based mapping, data processing, data management and spatial analysis to assist the delivery of the Koala Strategy to include analysis of spatial and biophysical data that supports delivery of the NSW Koala Program including Regional Partnerships, Habitat Restoration, Communications and Koala Science projects.
About You
The role of Scientist (Spatial) is to deliver high quality science utilising skills in biodiversity mapping, modelling, spatial data capture, analysis and management through open communication, collaboration, scientific rigour, data and knowledge management in accordance with E&H policies.
You will possess up to date knowledge and skills in relevant areas and provide input into the design and creation of tools and resources to achieve project and organisational objectives and contribute to the development of processes for the successful delivery of E&H science programs.
