Requirement:

Skout Solutions are seeking Bushland team members to join the Bushland Management Crew for Natural Systems based at the Mornington Peninsula Shire. This role will carry out bush land management works in bush land areas, reserves and open spaces, as well as being capable to assist with the greater Parks and Roadsides team when the need arises. The Contract also requires a Full time 2IC in Bushland Management. 

Casual roster - Monday - Thursday, 30-36 hours per week. Attractive hourly rate of $32.34 per hour, plus Super.) These roles have an opportunity to go permanent.
Full time Roster - Monday to Friday, 38 hour week, fortnightly RDO. Hourly rate of $25.87 per hour, plus Super

Skills and Experience Required:

• Farm Chemical Users Certification.
• Plant ID.
• Horticulture Experience.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card/Red Card).
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Manual).
• Level 2 Work Place First Aid Certification.
  
  

Skills and Experience Desirable:

• Level 1 Chainsaw Certificate.
• Level 1 Wildfire Certification.
• Experience in holistic bushland management and environmental management.
• Experience (or trade/tertiary qualification) in natural resource/horticulture management or related field.
• Medium Rigid/Heavy Rigid Truck License.
• Understanding of natural resource management on the Mornington Peninsula.
• Aptitude for bushland management works and the environmental industry.
