Go Bush Regeneration Services is a small business growing with the wider understanding and appreciation throughout the community of Bush Regeneration, Land Management, Koala Habitat Management and the understanding of revegetation for Carbon Credits across private and government sectors.

With this in perspective we are seeking motivated Bush Regenerators and Trainees to work on various project sites across the Tweed and Byron Shires 2 to 3 days per week with more work available if desired.

Applicants must have relevant experience in Bush Regeneration and Weed Management or show a keen initiative and understanding to obtain qualifications in the field.

Trainees must initiate their own traing at TAFE and enrol in an Environmental Land Management course which runs 1 day a week for 1yr.

You will have or have the means to obtain:

• Basic plant and weed identification.
• Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management or Natural Area Restoration or Horticulture or Landscape Construction or Environmental Science .
• Chemcert certificate.
• Own tools: spray pack, loppers, tool belt, cordless drill etc.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Apply First Aid .
• Construction Safety Card (White Card).
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• High level of initiative.
• ABN.
• Previous experience in Bush Regeneration / Revegetation / Landscaping.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain a range of small plant and equipment e.g. brushcutter, auger, spray pack, hand drills and small generators.

Hourly Rate:

• Sub-contractor rate dependant on qualifications, knowledge and experience: $32.50 -$40 p/hr.
