Balance Enviro Solutions specialises in the design, construction, and management of; wetland, riparian, and revegetation projects, ecological restoration, and aquatic environments. We are an interesting, progressive workplace with a positive atmosphere. We specialise in the coordination of wetland and waterway restoration projects, management of constructed and natural aquatic systems, and the implementation and management of water sensitive urban design projects.

Our depot is based in Fairfield, we also have a nursery and office in Bangholme, a nursery holding bay in Werribee, and an office QLD, with clients and sites all around the Melbourne region. with clients and sites all around the Melbourne region. 

As with most outdoor work we are subject to the extremities of the weather, as such, it is important to be able to flourish within the occasionally challenging conditions that our environment provides. As we mostly work in a team setting working with others and demonstrating effective communication is crucial to the application of tasks throughout the day. We try our absolute best to create a positive atmosphere for our employees while maintaining a solid pace and a task-oriented focus on the day's work.

We are seeking individuals looking to contribute to the construction of native wetlands throughout the Melbourne region and as such individuals who value the environment would likely find meaningful employment and a team in which they can apply themselves. We are seeking individuals looking to learn new skills and grow within the company. 

Key selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in environmental tasks such as; revegetation works, planting, hand weeding, herbicide application, brush cutting, landscaping, chainsaw work etc.
  • If you don’t have experience in any of the above; a good work ethic and being an encouraging/communicative team member is important – as training and development will be given
  • Ability to identify indigenous and exotic flora species. More importantly, the willingness to learn more

Current certificates/licenses are preferred:

  • White Card (essential)
  • First Aid
  • Tertiary or TAFE qualifications with our industry
  • ACUP (Chem cert)

Mandatory: Valid Covid Vaccination Certificate, or Immunisation history certificate showing 1 dose + proof of appointment date 2nd dose scheduled by 13 November, in line with the requirements for government regulations for working on construction sites.
