Kingfisher Environmental is an organisation delivering quality Conservation and Land Management services throughout the Corangamite and Port Phillip Catchment Management Regions.

About the Role

There are both Full-time and Casual positions available in this role. At Kingfisher Environmental, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of landscapes, from waterway restoration works to coastal rehabilitation works. There is also the potential to lead a team and to assist in the management of projects, working alongside our key clients including Parks Victoria, DELWP, Koala Clancy Foundation, Trust for Nature and Melbourne Water’s Stream Frontage Management Program.  

Main Duties Include:

  • Quikspray unit operation
  • Knapsack spraying
  • Pre-planting weed control
  • Revegetation
  • Chainsaw activities
  • Cutting and poisoning activities

General Work Locations

 Anglesea, Anakie, Bacchus Marsh, Balliang, Geelong, and Little River.

About You

We are seeking a suitably qualified person, with a heavy focus on professionalism and reliability, who has proven experience and a genuine interest in Conservation & Land Management.

Attributes, Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the environmental, horticultural, or agricultural industry
  • ACUP with proven knapsack and quikspray unit experience
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • White Card – Construction Induction
  • Chainsaw license with proven practical experience
  • Driver’s License - Manual
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with clients and landholders
  • Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and initiative
  • High level of fitness & endurance
  • Sound identification skills both in native vegetation and introduced species

  • Pay rates will be set in accordance with appropriate level of industry experience
