The Water Group, as part of the Department of Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is seeking an Assistant Water Planner to and assist with the identification of water policy planning issues and provide support to staff to develop, negotiate and resolve water management arrangements for NSW. 

About You

Providing day to day support to the planning teams throughout various locations in NSW, you will maintain workflows during high volume periods balancing the day to day priorities to ensure program delivery is achieved. 

Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, understand complex information and excellent attention will enable you to provide effective input to water management in NSW.

Previous experience 

  • In water management or natural resource management legislation, regulations, policies and systems.
