About the Role

Encycle are offering part-time or full-time permanent roles, which can be based from your home or co-work space anywhere in Australia. These roles work with clients from government agencies, property development, manufacturing and waste sectors and are responsible for delivering projects that resolve waste issues and drive best practice outcomes. 

Key responsibilities will include (at a level appropriate to your skills and experience):

  • Working with potential clients to scope out work accurately
  • Business development within defined target market sectors
  • Leading and/or delivery of projects
  • Analysing waste data and detailed technical report writing
  • Project management, budgets, running financials including variations
  • Driving business outcomes aligned to Encycle values and strategy

About You

You are a team player, known for your high standards of professionalism and for operating with integrity. In addition to being a self-starter you enjoy dealing with a range of stakeholders and are an organised project manager.

Ideally you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science/engineering or a related discipline;
  • 5 to 10+ years consulting experience (preferably in the waste sector);
  • Technical expertise in: Waste Management Plans, operational waste management systems, waste audits and assessments, waste data management, analysis and reporting, environmental licensing and approvals, and feasibility studies;
  • Business Development skills and proven ability to meet KPIs;
  • Well-developed research and technical report writing skills;
  • Excellent communication in all forms with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Experience with local government planning approvals processes;
  • Sound experience working within strict budgets and time-frames;
  • Understanding of requirements required to achieve Green Star ratings;
  • Advanced computer skills, including willingness to embrace cloud-based applications; and
  • Ability to work in a team environment including communicating and collaborating with team members remotely.
