About the role

The Site Supervisor provides leadership and support to Team Members engaged in professional, fee for service bush regeneration and revegetation works. 

On-ground works for external clients include:

  • Site preparation: weed control and brushcutting, rubbish removal.
  • Herbicide application.
  • Planting, staking and guarding.
  • Watering and site maintenance.
  • Direct seeding.

Ensuring that scheduled works are delivered on time and within budget, the TS is responsible for managing site work health & safety including Job Safety Analysis and site hazard assessment documentation.

As the site representative of Trees For Life, the TS is required to maintain positive relationships with land managers. 

Special Conditions:

Hours of work: a 75 hour / 9 day fortnight applies to this role.

Occasional remote area works requiring overnight stays.

About you

We are looking for a self-starter who is able to work with minimal guidance.  You will have demonstrated experience supervising team members in the field and in managing WHS.

Your experience in native revegetation and well developed knowledge of South Australian flora and introduced plant species will be invaluable.

Essentially, you will possess a current Class C Driver’s License and the ability to drive a 3.0l 4WD with trailer.  You will also hold a current Pest Management Technician’s Licence and First Aid certification. Work Zone Traffic Management certification is desirable
