We are a two year old, innovative start-up company owned by our communities. Our focus is to do good and help others do the same. We are determined to help our region be all that it can be – ethical, sustainable, biodiverse and profitable.

We have offices in Toowoomba, Roma and Charleville and a presence in Goondiwindi. We aim to deliver better outcomes for our region and communities through strong partnerships and collaborations.

About the role

Our team needs a Project Officer in the Roma office to help us deliver for our communities and our landscapes.

In this role, you will be part of a team that works with a wide range of individuals and organisations including farmers, First Peoples, governments, industry, academia Landcare and community groups.

Your interpersonal skills will be critical for helping people connect and learn from one another, so they have the information, resources and support to improve our landscapes.

Your customer focus and strong planning and coordination skills will ensure you prioritize and communicate effectively to deal with even the most demanding of situations.

About You:

  • Formal qualifications and/or relevant experience in agricultural or environmental science, communication/marketing or other related fields.
  • Ability to work positively in a close team environment.
  • Ability to achieve deadlines and reach desired outcomes.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A high regard for customer service and an ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent office management and administration skills.
  • An ability to multitask and handle interruptions.
