Territory Natural Resource Management

Location negotiable, NT

Territory Natural Resource Management (TNRM) is seeking a new Board Director.

TNRM is the regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) body for the Northern Territory. We are a not-for-profit community sector organisation responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating a strategic approach to natural resource management in the Territory.

We work in partnership with landholders, Indigenous groups, community groups, pastoralists, non-government organisations, governments and businesses to achieve good NRM outcomes.

We are custodians of the NT Natural Resource Management Plan. This community plan, sets the strategic direction for natural resource management in the Territory and identifies the necessary actions to achieve it. Through the NT Natural Resource Management Plan, we:

  • Help coordinate NRM investments and activities in the NT
  • Support communities and organisations to manage natural resources
  • Encourage investment and build knowledge in NRM in the NT
