GMHS has been in operation for over 25 years, working within both the Natural Resource Management and Civil sectors.  Our depot is based in Epping; however, our field crews travel to different sites around Melbourne each day to service the needs of our clients.

Our NRM Leading Hands work under the NRM Manager to provide in-field oversight and leadership by working with crews to undertake a variety of environmental management activities. You will take responsibility for the safe delivery of on-ground works including the maintenance of assets and the field delivery of environmental projects whilst ensuring a high level of performance to ensure maintainability and growth of the company.

You will be accountable for in-field planning and delivery of outcomes and standards of allocated projects and works, including quality, environmental, safety, budget tracking, technical and compliance requirements.

Training & Licences Required

  • Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Current Victorian Manual Driver’s Licence
  • First Aid Level 2
  • ACUP
  • Diploma in Conservation and Land Management or relevant field experience within the industry


  • Advanced Plant Identification Skills
  • Chainsaw operation certification
  • Experience with a variety of tools including brushcutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, augers
