The Role

In this role you will be undertaking various vegetation management and rehabilitation activities for private industry and government authorities as a member of a professional team. This role provides a varied and challenging experience across a range of ecological settings and landscapes.

This is an opportunity to actively demonstrate your experience and capability in vegetation management and also progress your professional development within a team that values its people and their careers.

About you

You will already have:

  • Current ChemCert qualifications
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • NSW Drivers Licence

You will ideally bring:

  • Qualifications  in Conservation and Land Management, Bush Regeneration or similar;
  • At least 12 months relevant experience including vegetation management, bush regeneration, horticulture, landscaping, arborist or relevant land management roles;
  • A general knowledge of vegetation communities including local native plant and weed species;
  • Practical knowledge of work, health and safety practices and procedures,
  • Ability to operate vehicles and field equipment;
  • Physical fitness, self-motivation and ability to function in a team environment;
  • Senior First Aid & CPR
  • an EPA Ground Applicator licence and/or chainsaw qualifications
  • 5 day availability and ability to regularly work away from home for up to 5 days at a time;
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Alignment to company values, policies and codes;
  • A strong work ethic.

You must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical (including drug screen testing). Offers of employment are conditional on being medically and physically fit for the job.
