With our partners we protect and help manage 11.3 million hectares of land, providing habitat for over 6,359 native species, including at least 243 threatened species, and work to enhance these living cultural landscapes. We have two proven approaches to what we do: we carefully select, purchase and manage landscapes of high conservation value; and we work in partnership with Traditional Owners, to achieve conservation and cultural land management outcomes.
About the role:
The Healthy Landscape Manager is a key regional leadership position and is responsible for coordinating land management and conservation activities in Bush Heritage’s programs in the South Coast of WA, including on reserves and for aspects of program development on Bush Heritage’s Aboriginal partnerships.
The Healthy Landscape Manager is responsible for managing staff, contractors and volunteers to deliver strategic conservation and biodiversity goals/objectives. The Healthy Landscape Manager works with partners, staff and volunteers to develop and deliver Priority Landscape plans, property management plans, operational work plans, budgets, HSE processes, governance, stakeholder communication & partnership engagement across their region of responsibility.
