We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the Queensland Department of Environment and Science's Soil Processes team, Landscape Sciences Branch.

The team provides technical expertise and science to support the protection and sustainable management of Queensland's soils and landscapes, informing policy, planning and management programs.

This position requires your expertise in soil chemistry and biogeochemical processes to be applied at farm- and catchment-scale to enhance Soil Processes team's scientific services.

Working collaboratively across sectors, institutions and community, the Soil Processes team produces, provides and communicates leading-edge soil, nutrient and catchment science.

Through innovative approaches and technologies, you will value add to the collection and application of soil, land management and environmental information by government, our customers, partners and stakeholders. Our government partners include Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Queensland Reef Water Quality Program, Land Restoration Fund, amongst others.
