Salary etc:

0.6 FTE at 21 hours per week - $42 per hour plus employer's contribution to superannuation

MidCoast2Tops Landcare Connection (MC2T) is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who can enhance and expand regional Landcare engagement with the community, Landcare organisations, government and industry as part of a state-wide program.  Planning, collaboration and coordination with key stakeholders and partners will enable larger scale opportunities.

The executive functions of the role will provide administrative support for MC2T.

MC2T supports three Landcare organisations in the sub-region via a voluntary committee. The Regional Landcare Coordinator will work with the MC2T committee and liaise with the three part-time Landcare Coordinators, Landcare NSW, Hunter Local Land Services, MidCoast Council and other relevant organisations. The position is a component of the NSW Landcare Program 2019-2023.

Key Requirements

  • Enthusiastic self-starter
  • Ability to work with volunteers, other professionals and government
  • Project management qualifications and/or experience
  • Demonstrated written, oral and computer/Internet-based office and communication skills
  • Ability to build partnerships with a range of government and non-government organisations
  • Driver licence and own vehicle

Role Classification: Temporary Part Time to 30 June 2023 - Subject to funding availability and performance
