The Strategic Project Delivery Section is located across Canberra, Darwin and Kakadu and works collaboratively with both park based and corporate services teams, Traditional Owners and other stakeholders. The Section is responsible for the delivery of a range of projects from business planning, cultural interpretation strategies, complex procurement and significant capital projects, including housing, office accommodation and visitor facilities.

The Manager - Strategic Projects (Kakadu) plays a leading role in delivering a range of significant, and transformational, projects in Kakadu National Parks.

Through planning and implementing capital and operational projects you will support the Traditional Owners of Kakadu in achieving their vision for the future of the park and for business and employment opportunities for Traditional Owners.

The merit list from this process may be used to fill similar roles within these locations over the next 12 months. These roles require travel to remote locations for project delivery

  • To be eligible for any position in the Department you must be an Australian Citizen.
  • You must undergo and satisfy a National Police History Check

The successful applicant must have an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People.
