Parks Australia manages three of Australia’s most iconic places: Kakadu; Uluru-Kata Tjuta; and Booderee National Parks. Parks Australia is committed to maintaining the values of these special places by keeping these environments healthy, supporting their living cultures and helping visitors appreciate the importance of these reserves. Our joint management partnership with the Aboriginal Traditional Owners of the land is working towards providing social and economic benefits to our Indigenous partners.
The Strategic Project Delivery Section is located across Canberra, Darwin and Kakadu and works collaboratively with both park based and corporate services teams, Traditional Owners and other stakeholders. The Section is responsible for the delivery of a range of projects from business planning, tourism planning, complex procurement and significant capital projects, including housing, office accommodation and visitor facilities.
The Project Officer plays a leading role in delivering a range of significant, and transformational, projects in Kakadu National Park. Through planning and implementing capital and operational projects you will support the Traditional Owners of Kakadu in achieving their vision for the future the park and for business and employment opportunities for Traditional Owners.

The merit list from this process may be used to fill similar roles within these locations over the next 12 months. These roles require travel to remote locations for project delivery
