Australian Environmental Auditors Pty Ltd (AEA) is seeking an experienced technical assistant for its Melbourne office.

We currently have a full-time position available to support our Landfill expert and contaminated land auditors. The position supports the growing landfill auditing arm of AEA and would be working closely with our experts in this area.

The successful candidate will:

  • have an understanding of landfill cell and cap construction, landfill management, and construction CQA;
  • have experience in, or exposure to, landfill gas and leachate;
  • possess a degree in engineering (preferred) or science
  • be an Australian citizen or hold proof of the right to work in Australia;
  • demonstrate a proactive and energetic approach to work, with the ability to work autonomously as well as working closely with other technical and non-technical staff;
  • hold a full driving licence;
  • be prepared to travel to sites, both within Victoria and interstate;
  • possess excellent written and verbal communication, with experience writing and compiling technical reports, and
  • demonstrate ability and confidence in relating with clients and all levels of AEA staff
