Situated on the south coast of NSW, the Eurobodalla Shire is a major tourist destination encompassing the townships of Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma.

Council has a number of grant funded projects underway or on the horizon. We are seeking a number of candidates to work on the following exciting projects / areas:

  • Weeds Finder Website
  • Litter Prevention
  • Eurobodalla Dune Weeds and Estuary Support
  • Landcare Support
  • Flying Fox Management
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Invasive Species Management
  • Sustainability Education

Your qualifications may be in natural resource management, conservation, land management, environment, sustainability or education and you will have expertise developing and delivering environmental or sustainability projects.

We consistently apply for and receive new environmental and sustainability grants and expect this to generate additional project work in the short to medium term. The duration of the work is determined by the project requirements and the term of the funding which can vary As new grants are received, there may be additional opportunities for suitable applicants across a range of projects.

These are a range of temporary contracts ranging from 1 day per week to 3 days per week. Applicants are able to express an interest in any or all of these potential roles. Depending upon the suitability and availability of the applicant/s it may be possible to offer a combination of contracts.

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $36.37 to $42.15 gross per hour consisting of:

  • $33.22 to $38.49 base salary,
  • $3.16 to $3.66 superannuation (at 9.5%)
