The Role: 

As Planning and Compliance Manager you will be a member of the Resources and Planning team, reporting to the Resources and Planning Manager.  Your team of five collaborates with Estate and Marketing/Operations teams to deliver sustainable and safe planning of our operations across the 95,000-hectare Forest Estate. Certified to the internationally recognised Responsible Wood Certification Scheme (RWCS), you are responsible for managing ongoing compliance and improvement for this program and our Forest Management System (FMS). Within your role you will provide leadership to your team in key areas of:

• Health, safety and wellbeing
• People and culture, capability and team development
• Increasing forest value through planning best practice silviculture programs.
• Fire prevention, response capability and recovery participation
• Audit programs ensuring compliance and effectiveness of RWCS & FMS

 To be successful in this role you will need relevant experience across the above key areas and be capable of: 

• Leading wellbeing and safety programs in line with our commitment to everyone going Home Safe and Well. 
• Developing an engaged highly skilled and collaborative team that has the capability to consistently deliver operational and strategic goals. 
• Developing and deploying plans, strategies, business cases and budgets aligned with our goals and vision. 
• Managing compliance with governance and social responsibility obligations through existing systems and processes. 
• Leading audit processes and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all that we do. 
• Managing projects to ensure they achieve agreed outcomes safely, on time and on budget.
