An exciting opportunity has opened for a landcare coordinator to join our small team. This role will suit someone with a strong interest in the environment and sustainable agriculture, an effective communicator who is able to work independently and has strong project management skills.
Ideally starting in February 2025, this position is for 15 hours per week, for a minimum of 12 months (including a 3-month probationary period). Potential to extend, dependent on future funding/projects. Hourly rate dependent on experience.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills:
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong written skills plus experience with writing grant applications
- Experience with project management and delivery
- Strong computer skills including competency in Microsoft Office Suite, GIS experience desirable
- Qualification or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, Environmental Science or similar
- Ability to work independently
- Full class C drivers licence, and own transport they are willing to use for work (reimbursed for km used)
