Nature Advisory Pty Ltd is an employee-owned specialist consulting ecological company, providing expert advice, field services, and reporting to organisations, governments and private clients on a range of ecosystem monitoring and management projects. Our growing team has an exciting vacancy for a Senior Ecological Consultant. The successful candidate will have experience undertaking ecological investigations and/or planning for nature positive outcomes, proven management abilities, experience in monitoring or impact assessment projects and skills in, or transferrable to, consulting. The position involves:
The position provides an excellent opportunity for a professional ecologist or planner with relevant experience who has a energetic and service-focussed approach to excellent project delivery. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team committed to a high standard of technical work and client service. You will be contributing to the management and growth of an almost 25-year-old, employee-owned business employing almost 80 staff.
Candidates must have graduate or post-graduate qualifications in ecology, environmental planning or a related field. A sound knowledge of biodiversity in Victoria, biodiversity related legislation and policies and well-developed communication skills are essential. A track record in managing ecological or planning projects would be useful. A current driver’s license is required.
