Join Our Team at the Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Network 

The Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Network is a collaborative effort, bringing together five local Landcare Networks to work toward shared environmental and community goals. These networks are, Watershed Landcare (Mudgee), Little River Landcare (Cumnock-Yeoval), Mid-Lachlan Landcare (Cowra-Canowindra), Central Tablelands Landcare (Orange-Bathurst) and Lithgow Oberon Landcare. Together, our network spans across the region. Our collaborative approach enables us to leverage each other’s strengths, exchange knowledge, and create lasting positive impacts in our local landscapes and communities.

This is a maternity leave cover position for the Regional Landcare Coordinator role. It is part-time, with a minimum of 35 hours per week, fixed-term from 2nd January 2025 to 30th June 2025. There is also the potential for a fixed-term part-time job share arrangement from 1st July 2025 to 31st December 2025, at 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week). We encourage candidates to indicate their availability for this job share during the application process.

  • Lead Regional Projects: Develop and support impactful Landcare initiatives to benefit the environment and community. 

The Regional Landcare Coordinator, will work with the Regional Administrative Support Officer, Landcare Groups, Local Landcare Coordinators, and organisations in the region by:

  • Supporting and facilitating the delivery of on-ground projects that care for the local natural environment and agricultural systems.
  • Strengthening the capacity of Landcarers by further developing their knowledge and skills.
  • Ensuring effective collaboration and partnerships between Landcare groups, Local Land Services, other government agencies and Landcare NSW.
  • Leveraging funding opportunities to maximise socio-environmental outcomes.

This position is funded under the NSW Landcare Enabling Program, a collaboration of Local Land Services and Landcare NSW, supported by the NSW Government.
