THE OPPORTUNITY:

Proficient People Plus+ (PPP+), partnered with with Cradle Coast Authority (CCA), is searching for a dynamic and driven Business Manager to  be responsible for the delivery of their Natural Resource Management (NRM) Contract. 

Based in Burnie, Tasmania, this full-time (part-time applications also considered, by negotiation) role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver upon the NRM contract in North-West Tasmania. YOUR SKILLS:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications or high-level relevant experience in Natural Resource Management or Environmental Sciences.
  • Experience: Demonstrated program and project management skills, including strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High-level interpersonal and effective relationship management skills.
  • Communication: Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and workshop facilitation.
  • Leadership: Experience leading and managing teams, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of state and federal government funding agreements and financial management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Leadership Role: Lead the development and implementation of the NRM Regional Strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with regional, state, and national NRM partners and collaborators.
  • Project Management & Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality NRM projects and compliance with funding agreements.
  • Team Environment: Work within a high-performing team, contributing to whole-of-business strategy and planning.
