Leliyn (Edith Falls) in Nitmiluk National Park is 290km south of Darwin or 60km north of Katherine. As a Senior Park Ranger (T3R) your core focus will be to provide supervisory management to a dedicated team of Park Rangers, working as part of the broader Nitmiluk National Park ranger team and the Savannah / Gulf regional park management team, responsible for delivering park management services relating to tourism and visitor management, education, conservation and wildlife management. You will also take the lead in developing and maintaining joint management partnerships with traditional Aboriginal owners and relevant stakeholders.

It is essential you have demonstrated significant relevant experience in a field of technical work closely related to the duties of the vacancy, or a relevant qualification awarded by an Australian institution, or equivalent. Well-developed communication skills and the ability interact positively with staff, visitors and volunteers is a key component of the job, together with a solid understanding of natural and cultural resource management.
