About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Officer in the Water and Infrastructure Operations Branch. The Project Officer is responsible for the effective delivery of assigned projects and professional support functions that contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of River Murray programs. In this capacity the role manages, or contributes to, the delivery of complex projects that address a range of critical priorities including: weir pool, floodplain and wetland management, and associated monitoring and adaptive management actions.

Contract:

Contract up to 30 June 2025.

Essential Qualifications:

Appropriate degree in Science, Environmental Management or equivalent is essential.

Special Conditions:

• May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
• Current class 'C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
• May require some intra/interstate travel.
• Some out of hours may be required.

Remuneration:

PO2 $86,950 min - $96,223 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours. Part-time or full time applicants are encouraged to apply.
