The KILB is currently seeking to appoint a Landscape Operations &  Compliance Team Leader

About the role

The Landscape Operations and Compliance Team Leader, is a pivotal role in supporting the operational and strategic delivery of the Boards invasive species (pest plant and animal) and water related programs. These programs support invasive species and water management activities through engagement and education with landholders, which ensure positive environmental outcomes are delivered, while ensuring legislative responsibilities are met. At times this will include delivery of compliance action in line with the Landscape SA Act 2019.

The role is supported by the Manager Sustainable Landscapes and provides oversight and direction in administration of the Landscape SA Act 2019 and interrelated Acts and Regulations, as it applies to control and compliance provisions for invasive species and water.

The role supports the development and management of the Board's operational policies and procedures, and administration of Board licenses, permits and approvals that support delivery of invasive species and water management programs.

The role will support private landholder engagement and the development of land management strategies to assist and ensure that landholders are informed and enabled to meet their legislative responsibilities.

Salary range: $97,022 - $102,626 p.a.
