About the role
Niche is a company that has experienced continuous growth year on year. We have a dynamic and resourceful team located on the east coast of Australia.
The Project Controller role sits within the newly established Project Management Office (PMO) and is part of the Niche Operations team.
The Project Controller role is a key member of the project team and works directly with Niche's project managers to provide project assistance with project financials and administration, plus and support of the delivery of projects across the business. Project Controllers assist with setting up projects, defining project goals and objectives; creating and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyse progress reported against the work schedules; identifying project risks and recommend actions to improve progress. The Project Controller will also assist the PMO to develop new ways of working and improvements to how we can manage and deliver projects.
What will make us a great match
This role will best suit someone who will take pride in supporting a diverse range of projects (with prior experience ideally within a consulting or professional services environment) and have a great understanding of project financials and requirements throughout the project lifecycle. You'll have a keen eye for detail and be able to analyse project financials and metrics to identify project issues before they arise and be proactive in jumping in to assist our Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
