We are currently recruiting for a Divisional Head for our Bushland Regeneration (Ecological Restoration) team. This is a senior role, leading and mentoring our tender and project managers.

We are seeking an individual with extensive experience and knowledge in ecology, conversation and land management; a true industry professional.

As Divisional Head you are primarily responsible for the successful tendering, planning and execution of a constant flow of work. You will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and specific business advice and guidance in relation to the specific client contracts, reporting directly to the Company Director.
  • Perform as the primary point of contact between Total Earth Care and clients to implement service delivery and performance tracking, financial management, administration systems and technical coordination.
  • Manage and maintain client relationships, including management of projects, contracts, negotiation of client arrangements and enabling client performance by managing performance of TEC workflow, obligations, and commitments.
  • Management of contractual and commercial disputes.
  • Oversee, review and critique tender submissions for the Bushland Regeneration (Ecological Restoration) division.
  • Provide sound leadership on projects, contractual and commercial obligations including compliance with contract documents, legislation and Australian or relevant Standards.
  • Manage and mentor tender and project managers in the Bushland Regeneration (Ecological Restoration) division.
  • Follow, promote and thrive in our environment of continuous improvement and quality assurance in Work Health Safety (WHS), Environmental Management (EMS) and Integrated Systems Management (IMS).
  • Develop strong relationships with the Company Director and operational team.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in ecology, conversation and land management, and bush regeneration.
  • Bachelor's degree/ Masters in Environment related discipline, Landscaping or Construction.
  • Proven tender Management experience in managing bid teams, overseeing the tender processes and producing high quality and professional proposal.
  • Highly effective communication (written & verbal) skills, teamed with strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills across all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience using computer-based mapping software, i.e. QGIS, Avenza (plus ARC desirable).
  • Comprehensive and broad experience in business operations.
  • WHS White Card.
  • Current drivers' licence and must have experience driving a manual vehicle.
  • High focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Problem resolution skills and adaptability.
  • Deadline and detail orientated.
  • Effective leadership and people management skills.
  • Experienced bush regenerator.

Desirable but not required:

  • BAM accredited.
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or Science discipline.
  • Market knowledge in Landscaping.
  • Other knowledge (incl. WHS, First Aid, EEO).
