We are seeking a full-time Revegetation Project Manager to join our Southwest office in Busselton to help us continue to deliver on our vision to 'leave a lasting impression on landscapes and people'.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the concurrent delivery of multiple projects by:

  • Project planning, design, and plan preparation.
  • Preparation of proposals and responding to tenders and client enquiries.
  • Briefing and assisting field Project Supervisors and Team Leaders in project implementation, including hands-on participation in activities.
  • Ensuring that internal standards and HS&E legislation are met, with safety given paramount importance.
  • Project monitoring and compliance reporting.
  • Consulting to clients and preparing detailed revegetation and other management plans.
  • Liaison with clients, Government authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Mapping and GIS.

There may also be opportunities to do some field work in this role.

Education & Qualifications:

  • University degree in related environmental field, and
  • Current driver's license required.

Experience and Credentials:

  • Ideally five years' or more experience in project management and/or consulting in the environmental management field, or five years in the revegetation industry in a supervisory role.
  • Proven self-motivated and self-disciplined leader.
  • A highly organised approach and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal management and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A focus on safety and delivering quality client outcomes.

Our ideal candidates have a solid understanding of the issues commonly faced in rehabilitating the natural environment, gained through practical project management experience. Applicants who are strong in project management and lack rehabilitation experience or vice versa will also be considered. They will also be self-confident individuals that understand their role within a team, being able to provide both leadership and support as required.
