NSW | Renewable Energy in the Illawarra

We are excited to announce the inaugural event for the EIANZ NSW Renewable Energy event series, which focuses on the rapidly expanding renewable energy industry in the Illawarra region. The first event "Renewable Energy in the Illawarra" will canvass the big picture vision for renewables in the Illawarra region, the unique opportunities at our doorstep and the professional capacity required to deliver this vision.

The event will feature three prominent industry professionals:

Hear from these expert speakers as they provide insights and tips on how environmental professionals can take advantage of a renewables push in the region.

This is the first event in a series that aims to connect environmental professionals, industry, university, and government in energy transformation for the region and beyond. The series will cover different modalities of a sustainable energy future, including offshore wind, hydrogen, solar, storage and more. The themes addressed in the series include:

  • Innovation and research underpinning the energy transition
  • Commercialisation and application of technologies into business
  • Existing industries who are using/hoping to use the technologies to decarbonise
  • Case studies of real-world, implemented, renewable energy projects.

If you currently work in the environment or energy sectors, or have an interest in renewable energy development and technologies, this event is not to be missed!

This is a hybrid event. Join us in person at the Balgownie Hotel, or online via Zoom.

A light dinner will be provided if participating in person. We look forward to seeing you there!
