Event description

For the Future We Can Win

The Nature Conservation Council of NSW will host its Annual Conference and AGM on Saturday 5th November 2022. Join us to take steps toward the Future We Can Win!

Featuring presentations from FutureEarth, Australia Remade and others on how decision-makers, environment groups and the communities they represent can take a compelling story of transformation and restoration make it a reality; the NSW we want. Join us at For the Future We Can Win to ignite your hope and move with us into action.

Other key speakers will be the NSW Minister for Heritage and the Environment, plus environment spokes people for Labor and the Greens.

For the Future We Can Win is an interactive conference, with workshops that will provide participants with tools for reform and activism, starting in your own back yard, to making nature and climate the biggest issue at the 2023 NSW state election.

We encourage all environmentalists, nature supporters, and NCC member groups to come along, in person if you can, to get together and plan for the future.

This conference is a wonderful opportunity for connecting and community building throughout the day.

We pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land from which is this event will be held and broadcast, the Gadigal People of the Eora nation, and the lands from which attendees will attend. Sovereignty was never ceded.

When: The conference will take place from 8.45am - 5pm
Where: The NSW Teachers Federation (Surry Hills), and online via Zoom
