conservation in Action 2022

Conservation in Action is a unique conference that brings together industry leaders in the conservation field. From scientists to policy makers, program managers through to specialists in implementing works in the field, this event will bring together all disciplines of natural resource management to facilitate the transition of cutting-edge environmental research into on-ground action.

We do things differently, and we’re proud of it. All of our conference symposia are plenary sessions - we actively choose not to host concurrent sessions. Why? Because we want to get people together from diverse backgrounds and careers to understand that in conservation - perhaps more so than in any other field - working in isolation isn’t providing solutions. Getting the best contemporary science implemented in the field necessarily requires bringing together researchers, policy and program managers, and field practitioners. We want to see relationships built, collaborations form, and most importantly, great environmental outcomes implemented in the ensuing years post conference.
