The new updated Diploma of Conservation and Ecosystem Management qualification replaces the previous Diploma of Conservation and Land Management.
Tocal College's Diploma of Conservation and Ecosystem Management (AHC51120) is designed for land holders and managers, bushland regenerators, pest officers and other students of environmental management.

The Diploma has a strong emphasis on the practical application of what you learn. You will undertake field research and develop plans for an area of land that you are familiar with, so that the learning can be useful for the day-to-day management of this land.
If you are already employed or have experience in conservation or land management, you may be eligible to gain part or all of this qualification based on skills or experience you already have.
You can also choose to complete individual units from the qualification, to develop specific skills and knowledge. Specialist areas include natural area and river restoration, prescribed burn planning, sustainable agriculture and pest management.
