Natural Resource Management Live Webinar Series

The University of Melbourne

Expression of Interest is sought for Natural Resource Management webinars and online short courses, delivered by leading science academics from the University of Melbourne.

This non-accredited NRM-focused series aims to build natural resource management skills in various NRM areas and delivered as one-hour or two-hour lectures webinars, or longer online workshops over several days and delivered in June, July and August.  A certificate of participation will be provided at the end of each webinar topic.

The topics include:

  • Bushfire Management and Planning
  • Natural systems remediation and regeneration
  • Climate Change for NRM Groups
  • Ecosystem function and management
  • Water Quality in the natural environment
  • Introduction to invasive species basics (flora and fauna) 
  • Basic hydrogeology for NRM project officers
  • Marine ecology 
  • Scientific project design 
  • Basic statistics and analytics
