Course: Habitat Conservation & Management, Greening Australia

Melbourne - Tues evenings & Sat mornings (6 Aug - 19 Nov)

This 15-week course teaches land management practices to conserve, protect and restore native plants and wildlife. The course presents and discusses the best planning tools and management techniques available and includes plant ID, bush ecology, weed control, soils and climate, use of fire, site assessment and planning, and many more.

Presenters include Darcy Duggan, Randall Robinson, George Paras and Gidja Walker.

  • Date: 6 August - 19 November, 2019
  • Time: Tuesday evenings from 6.30 - 9.30pm and 8 full-day Saturday field trips
  • Location: Tuesday evening sessions are held at La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary, with field trips run at various locations across the Port Phillip region
  • Cost: $1500 (Plus GST, this includes course materials and light refreshments for the evening sessions)
