Tamworth Regional Landcare Bush Regeneration is a unique bush regeneration service which has been undertaking contract work in Northwest NSW over the past 5 years,

We are seeking an experienced bush regeneration supervisor for 25 hrs to 32 hrs per week, to lead a small team based in Tamworth, NSW.

To be considered for this position you will need:

• Tertiary qualification in bushland regeneration, natural area management, ecology or equivalent such as a TAFE Certificate or Diploma in Conservation and Land Management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing bush regeneration contracts and team leadership.
• Relevant administration skills for producing monthly and annual reports.
• Awareness and experience of WHS procedures and environmental legislation.
• Ability and willingness to perform and supervise fine hand weeding and revegetation, as well as primary and secondary work on a variety of sites.
• Current Senior First Aid, chainsaw operations and chemical handling qualifications.
• Current driver’s license and suitable vehicle to carry tools and plants for revegetation projects.
• Demonstrated reliability which will be checked through references.
• Possess the ability to mentor and work well with other team members.

As Tamworth Regional Landcare and the sites for which we are seeking a supervisor are based in Northern NSW, you will need to consider this if applying from outside of the area.
