Greenville Landscaping & Environmental is seeking expressions of interest from motivated applicants for a dual-purpose role combining conservation land management field work with practical farmhand duties. This casual position is offered with full-time loading and would suit someone who enjoys varied outdoor work, is physically capable, and is keen to contribute to meaningful environmental and agricultural outcomes.
Our conservation management work covers more than 1,000 hectares of covenanted conservation land - privately owned land protected in perpetuity for environmental benefit. Most sites are located west of Melbourne, ranging from grasslands on the slopes of the You Yangs, to herb-rich forest at Morrisons, Grey Box grassy woodlands at Parwan within the Parwan Gorge Conservation Precinct, and a biolink at Glenmore that supports the movement of native flora and fauna between the Brisbane Ranges and Werribee Gorge. Primary conservation management duties include:
The farming component of the role supports the management of approximately 400 hectares of grazing farmland. Our livestock includes several hundred sheep and a small herd of cattle.
