We proudly propagate a diverse range of high-quality Noongar native plants, supporting biodiversity, revegetation, and meaningful community and environmental outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Production Nursery Manager to oversee nursery production, lead a dedicated team, and help grow our impact.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who values purpose-driven work, plant quality, and strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage propagation and planting schedules for native species
  • Lead, train, and support nursery staff in a respectful, inclusive workplace
  • Oversee plant health, quality control, and pest and disease management
  • Manage stock control, propagation records, and inventory systems
  • Engage with customers, community, and stakeholders on native plant outcomes
  • Support sales and outreach aligned with NFP goals and sustainability
  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, and cost management
  • Oversee irrigation, facilities, and nursery equipment maintenance

About You

  • Qualification in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in nursery production and/or horticulture management
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, respectful approach
  • Knowledge of plant propagation and native species (highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of plant health, pests, and disease management
  • Excellent communication and community-focused mindset
  • Passion for sustainability, environmental restoration, and First Nations values
