ID Ecological Management is seeking motivated Bush Crew Members to help restore and protect significant conservation areas across the Bass Coast and Gippsland region.

You'll work outdoors, make a tangible environmental impact, and develop your skills and further your training within an experienced, supportive team.

Flexible options - choose between full-time and part-time or casual (3x days per week).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability and/or strong interest in weed control, revegetation, and bushland restoration.
  • Knowledge of local native and weed species.
  • Safe and efficient use of brushcutters, herbicide application equipment, and hand tools.
  • Clear communication with team members, clients, and the public.
  • Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety and environmental best practice.
  • Experience in Conservation and Land Management (Certificate II-IV or equivalent).
  • Driver's licence is essential as you may be required to start and finish on site at times.
  • Tertiary study in Conservation, Environmental Science or similar (preferred but not essential).

Certificates / licenses

  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Manual preferred).
  • First Aid Level 2 (preferred, not essential).
  • *OHS Construction Induction Card (Required).
  • *Chemcert, ACUP or equivalent (Required).

* Candidates without these licences may still apply but must be willing to obtain them as part of the onboarding process.

This role involves physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions. All work is conducted in accordance with our Occupational Health and Safety Management System to ensure a safe working environment.
