About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Conservation Practitioner to join our growing team. The successful applicant will be involved in on-ground ecological restoration works, including but not limited to:
- Weed control using chemical, mechanical and manual methods.
- Revegetation and habitat restoration.
- Monitoring and reporting on site conditions and works undertaken.
- Operation and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Contributing to safe work practices and environmental compliance.
Key Selection Criteria
- Motivated by a strong sense of purpose in contributing to ecological restoration.
- Drive for continual improvement.
- Cert III or above in conservation & land management, or natural resource management.
- Practical skills in bushland restoration, plant identification and ecology.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- White Card.
- Current driver's licence.
- Chemical Handling Certificate (ACUP or equivalent).
- Chainsaw lvl II (desirable).
- First Aid lvl II (desirable).
