J M Bushland Maintenance (JMBM) is a locally owned environmental business based on the Sunshine Coast. We deliver bush regeneration, ecological restoration, environmental maintenance for the Sunshine Coast Council, Landcare groups, private landholders, along with a strong focus on quality work and protecting the natural environment.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on environmental field role involving bush regeneration, weed control and planting

A large portion of the work is currently based around Witta on the Sunshine Coast (Monday Tuesday), involving steep and physically demanding terrain, along with Bushcare sites and Natural Areas sites across the Sunshine Coast region. The role is best suited to someone very fit, comfortable working in tough bush conditions, and willing to put in a solid day’s work outdoors.

We’re looking for someone reliable, who's looking for consistant Monday-Tuedsday with more days highly likely throughout the week till end of financial year (June 30).

Desirable Skills, Experience and Criteria:

• No experience necessary, on the job training available.
• This position requires good physical fitness and a strong commitment to quality work.
• Competent or willing to learn, in the use of power tools with practical experience across brush cutting, augering, and chainsaw operation.
• This is a casual position
• 2+ days per week

Required Licenses and Tickets:

• Minimum Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
• Construction White Card.
• Up-to date First aid and CPR
• Current Driver's licence (With ability to meet on site).
