The National Landcare Network is looking for a motivated, and creative Digital Engagement & Events Officer to strengthen the NLN's engagement with members and build the community led Landcare movement across Australia. This role offers the chance to make a genuine difference through building the systems for knowledge exchange, and decision making to build a unified voice for Landcare movement.

As our Digital Engagement and Events Officer, you will:

  • Manage NLN's Social Media platforms and work with the management team to deliver high impact strategic national messaging.
  • Develop, curate and facilitate a digital platform to enable our Members Council to map, plan, innovate and make strategy and policy recommendations.
  • Plan and deliver national webinars, online forums and digital and in person events.
  • Support implementation of the Youth Engagement Strategy and develop youth focused content.
  • Collaborate with our State and Territory communications teams and support storytelling across the network.
  • Monitor analytics, ensure brand consistency and contribute to continuous improvement.

About you

(the ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities).

  • Experience in digital communications, content creation or marketing.
  • Confidence managing online platforms, analytics tools and webinar/event systems.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience working in environmental, community, agricultural or not for profit sectors.
  • Experience in working in complex environments with competing demands to service multiple stakeholders across different lines of engagement.
  • Collaborative, values driven and committed to inclusive communication and cultural respect.
