If you are a team player with strong project management skills, including evaluation and monitoring, with a passion for the environment, then this is the job for you. The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is the critical link between all of the SA Arid Lands Landscape Board's programs through supporting successful project design and delivery. This includes reporting against project milestones, as well as evaluation and identification of improvements for projects.
This unique opportunity is a 13-month maternity back-fill position based in Adelaide or Port Augusta. You will be supporting and working with a success-driven, collaborative, fun and multi-disciplinary team who work with community, industry, First Nations groups, conservation sector and many other partners in protecting, managing, restoring and sustaining the environment and its values across South Australia's outback.
This role will provide you an outstanding opportunity to be a part of shaping and planning the future of the board and community as it applies to the protection and management of the SA Arid Lands unique natural resources.
You will relish the opportunity to cross collaborate with colleagues across the State's nine Landscape Boards and will be a part of networks established to support state level influence, policy, planning and MERI outcomes.
You are an adaptive leader, who can manage up and out to bring people along. You are able to work autonomously and engage with all disciplines of the business and board in both strategic and operational contexts.
This opportunity will suit someone who has proven experience in the planning and MERI area, and particularly in the NRM context, along with project management skills.
