The Threatened Species Operations Unit within Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) is seeking a passionate and experienced conservation professional to join our Recovery Planning and Coordination team.  

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in ecology, threatened-species project management and conservation planning. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the planning, management and reporting of key threatened-species initiatives across the QPWS Central Region. You will also work closely with our key partners and stakeholders - helping connect people, policy and on-ground action to achieve lasting conservation outcomes. QPWS Central Region extends from Gladstone to Townsville & west to the Northern Territory border 

This position is located in Rockhampton but Townsville, Mackay or other locations in Central Region will be considered
