About the role

We're looking for an environmental products specialist who can bridge the gap between innovative environmental products and the people doing crucial on-ground conservation work.

This isn't a traditional sales role - it's about building genuine partnerships with landcare groups, NRM bodies and environmental contractors. You'll be their trusted advisor, understanding their project challenges and connecting them with solutions that make their revegetation and erosion control work more effective.

You'll work closely with customers from initial project planning through to delivery, ensuring they have the right products and support to achieve their environmental outcomes. Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Building collaborative relationships with landcare coordinators, NRM officers and environmental project managers
  • Understanding on-ground challenges and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Supporting customers through project planning, product selection and implementation
  • Identifying organisations and projects that could benefit from our products in order to pursue and convert new business opportunities to expand Global Green’s customer base
  • Growing our network of environmental distributors to increase access to quality products
  • Operational management of your customer base through calls, site visits and administration of customer orders and sales enquiries

About you

You're passionate about environmental restoration and genuinely care about helping projects succeed. You understand the landcare and NRM sector - the challenges, the people and what drives them. You're a natural relationship builder who earns trust through integrity and follow-through rather than pressure.

Ideally, you bring:

  • Background or strong interest in Natural Resource Management, revegetation, or horticulture
  • Experience working with landcare, councils, NRM authorities or environmental contractors
  • Genuine passion for environmental outcomes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical products clearly
  • Self-motivation and comfort working independently across a territory
  • Understanding of project planning and the practical realities of on-ground conservation work
  • Ability to identify where our products can make a meaningful difference
  • Professional resilience and problem-solving mindset
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Current driver's license
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
